"Don't just wonder how beautiful the world is, WANDER in it."

Wandering Pinay

Traveling fills my heart with genuine happiness. The feeling of setting foot on places I have never been before makes me feel like I am in one of the Hollywood movies where the main character goes to a place to explore it then falls in love with it and doesn't want to leave anymore. Many people think they can't travel because they could never afford it which I think they are wrong. If there's a will, there is always a way. This is one of the main reasons why I started to blog. I'd like to bring more clarity to a lot of people that they can travel without spending a fortune based on my own experience. On my blogs, I give budget guides, travel tips, itineraries, safety tips, best places to visit, best places to eat and most thrilling experience that anyone shouldn't miss.

About Me

I'm Shayne a 27 year Filipina who lived in the Philippines my whole life. We were a family of 6, our parents wanted the best for us and they really worked hard for it. Unlike others, I wasn't born with a silver spoon, we lived within our means. But our parents always bring us to explore new places within the country. This made me realize what I really wanted and that is to explore new places and try new things.  I am a firm believer that you don't have to be rich to travel. Planning the trip carefully is the key to a affordable and worth it experience.

How it all started

14 years ago, I started to travel in different places with my friends. I started to visit different beaches, chase waterfalls, hike on mountains, go to old churches and try a lot of other stuff. So, I told myself that I will explore the Philippines and when I am done with it I will explore Asia then explore the rest of the world. I am taking one step at a time.

My Happy Place

Boracay Island in the Philippines has always been my all time favorite. Powdered white sand, crystal clear water and cocktails are it's deadliest combo. It is my second home, I have been going here at least few times a years for 12 years and still counting.
